- Timber threshold ramps and short access runs — not long/steep structural ramps
- Not an NDIS registered provider — self-managed and plan-managed only
- Minor, non-structural work under Victoria's $10,000 line — not a registered builder, no permit work
What we build
- Threshold ramps — levelling or bridging a raised door sill so a walker or wheelchair clears it
- Short timber access ramps over a step or two
- Simple landings and packing that keep the run stable and tidy
- Related step and handrail work where a rail is safer than stretching the ramp

When a specialist ramp company is needed
We are honest about the edge of our scope. Long runs, steep grades, structural works, or anything that needs a building permit belong with a specialist ramp company or a registered builder — not with us. If that is your job, we will say so at the quote and point you the right way rather than take work we should not do.
How we quote
Send photos of the step or sill, a rough height, and the suburb. If an OT has a scope, include it. You'll get a written fixed price within one business day. OT workflow details sit on the access hub OT section.
Honesty on scope
We're not a registered building practitioner and we're not an NDIS registered provider. All ramp work stays minor, non-structural, and under Victoria's $10,000 registration threshold. No permit work. Agency-managed NDIS plans need a registered provider — we suit self-managed and plan-managed participants only.
Who you're dealing with
Suburbs we cover
Camberwell, Balwyn, Glen Iris, Blackburn and Mitcham, working out of Mitcham. Access jobs are usually urgent, and these are the suburbs we can get to quickly. Outside that ring, call and ask.
Common questions
What kind of access ramps do you build?
Timber threshold ramps and short access ramps — a raised door sill made clear for a walker or wheelchair, or a short run up a step or two. Minor, non-structural work under Victoria's $10,000 line.
When do you recommend a specialist ramp company?
When the run is long or steep, when the work is structural, or when a building permit is required. We say so at the quote rather than after — those jobs need a specialist ramp company or a registered builder.
Are you a registered builder or NDIS registered provider?
No to both. We are carpenters doing minor, non-structural work under Victoria's $10,000 line — not a registered building practitioner, and not an NDIS registered provider. Self-managed and plan-managed participants only.
How fast can you quote a ramp?
Within one business day of receiving the details or OT scope. Photos of the step and a rough height measurement help. If it is urgent, say so when you call.
