What the quote form collects
Your name, phone number, suburb and the type of work, because we can't quote without them. Optionally your email address and a description of the job. That's the lot — there's no tracking pixel, no analytics account and no advertising tag on this website.
What we use it for
Getting back to you about the job you asked about: replying, arranging a look at the site, sending a quote, and doing the work if you go ahead. If you don't go ahead, we don't follow you around — we may keep the enquiry so we recognise you if you call back later.
Where it's stored
Form submissions are held by Netlify, who host this website, and emailed to our Gmail account. Both are outside Australia, which is normal for hosted email and web services. We don't copy your details anywhere else, and we don't sell or trade them — ever, to anyone.
Photos of your job
We take photos of work as we go, mostly to keep a record and sometimes to show other customers what a job looked like. We don't publish addresses, and we don't photograph the inside of your home for the website without asking you first. If you'd rather we didn't use a photo of your job at all, say so and we won't.
Seeing it or deleting it
Email studbuilding@gmail.com and ask. We'll tell you what we hold and delete it if you want it gone. No form to fill in.
Text messages
If you text photos of a job to 0449 618 471, those messages sit on the phone the same way any other message does, and get deleted when they're no longer useful.
Changes
If this note changes we'll update this page. Last updated August 2026.
